Labant Muffle Furnace is a batch-operated electric furnace available in high-temperature and medium-temperature specifications. It is widely used in laboratories of industrial and mining enterprises, scientific research institutions, and educational facilities for:
Chemical analysis and physical property testing of materials;
Heat treatment of small steel parts (e.g., quenching, annealing, tempering);
Metal sintering, melting, and component analysis.
This series of resistance furnaces is equipped with temperature controllers and platinum-rhodium thermocouples, enabling real-time temperature measurement, clear temperature indication, and automatic furnace temperature control—ensuring stable and accurate thermal processing conditions.

Features
● Robust Overall Structure
Furnace Shell: Constructed from thin steel plates via folding and welding processes, with an electrostatic spray coating on the surface. This coating enhances corrosion resistance and gives the furnace a sleek, durable exterior.
Inner Lining: A rectangular one-piece furnace lining made of aluminum silicate refractory material. For models designed for higher temperatures, the inner lining is formed by firing high-alumina bricks—ensuring excellent high-temperature resistance and structural stability.
Insulation Layer: Located between the furnace lining and shell, composed of refractory fibers and expanded perlite products. This multi-layer insulation structure minimizes heat loss, improves energy efficiency, and keeps the outer shell at a safe touch temperature.
● Stable Heating Elements
Heating elements are selected based on the maximum operating temperature of the furnace, ensuring efficient and uniform heating:
For temperatures ≤ 1200℃: Nickel-chromium alloy resistance wires are used. These wires are evenly arranged inside the furnace, delivering uniform temperature distribution across the heating chamber.
For temperatures ≤ 1300℃: Silicon carbide rods are adopted. When exposed in the furnace chamber, they provide a dual heating effect (radiant heating + convective heating), ensuring rapid temperature rise and stable heat output.
Installation: Heating elements are inserted into wire grooves on the upper, lower, left, and right sides of the inner lining. The furnace lining features a sealed structure to prevent heat leakage and protect the heating elements.
● Temperature Sensing & Control System
Temperature Sensing: A platinum-rhodium thermocouple is inserted through the thermocouple hole at the rear of the furnace, enabling accurate real-time temperature measurement of the furnace chamber.
Temperature Control: The temperature controller (matching model: HD901 K Series) is used in conjunction with the furnace. It offers high temperature control accuracy and user-friendly operation.
● Furnace Door
The furnace door bricks are made of lightweight refractory materials—reducing the overall weight of the door while maintaining good heat insulation. The door design ensures a tight seal when closed, further minimizing heat loss and maintaining stable internal temperatures.
● Key Features of Split-Type Design
Independent Connection: The furnace body and temperature controller are separate components. The user is responsible for wiring and setup according to their specific usage requirements (e.g., placement distance, power cable length).
AC Contactor: Equipped with an AC contactor for power control. Compared to integrated muffle furnaces, this component may produce a certain level of operating noise—this is a normal characteristic of the split-type design.
